Role Purpose:
This is a dedicated role in Exams system product team to align with business teams and IT project teams to manage the product whole life cycle, conduct business & process analysis, user requirements collaboration, and to support the functional design and control the quality of the development.

 

Accountabilities:
•    Understand and analyse the user requirements for developing exams systems.
o    Lead on product/ function-based life cycle management, including user needs analysis, process review, backlog prioritization, document preparation, end-to-end release.
o    Support business users to adapt new functions and collect feedbacks for continuous improvement.
o    Communicate with business users for system related issues.
•    Support the system development and changes process as key stakeholder.
o    Work with development team for user needs clarification, system development, quality control.
o    Manage user training, demos, user acceptance tests and release process.
•    Professional development and other duties including:
o    Attend trainings, workshops and other professional development activities as necessary.
o    Other duties and projects as assigned.
•    Manage information created and received in compliance with the British Council’s information management standards, policies, the UK data protection principles and local legislation.

 

Role specific knowledge and experience:
•    Relevant full-time work experience 
•    Cross-team work experience in IT projects
•    Proven record of product/ project management, process control and quality assurance Knowledge of Agile, Lean, Waterfall.

 

Role specific skills:
•    Proven record of user needs analysis and user requirement management 
•    End-to-end digital product management

 

Requirements: 
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
•    Language:
o    English B2 (Aptis, IELTS 6.5 or equivalent) 
o    Chinese C1 ( HSK 5 or equivalent)
•    Certification and Professional Qualifications
o    PMP/ PRINCE2
•    Condition of Employment:
