Role Purpose As Head of Operations for English and School Education, you will play a very important role in delivering high-impact strategic partnerships with national and local governments in Colombia. Beyond overseeing implementation, you'll support growth by identifying new opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and expanding the reach and impact of our work in the education sector. This role is critical to ensuring the effectiveness, quality, and financial sustainability of projects while maintaining compliance with corporate policies, operational risk standards, and local regulations. Main accountabilities but not limited to the following Supports the English and School Education (ESE) team in the design and negotiation of partnerships, ensuring quality, maximising impact, and effectively managing risks and issues. Leads and supports the implementation of programmes and projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery, in partnership with project-based Heads of Implementation. Ensures the compliance of activities and milestones aligning to financial targets, procurement policies, and risk management assessments. Oversees the integration of digital tools and technologies to improve project tracking, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery. Contributes to regional/country business strategy. Creates and/ or monitors detailed implementation plans integrating schedule of activities, deliverables, financial resources, quality management, communications plan, risk assessment and mitigation, indicators, amongst others. Requirements of the role Five (5) years of professional experience in large-scale projects, ideally in the education sector. Experience managing projects from start to finish and familiarity with project life cycles. Experience collaborating effectively with others to develop solutions to issues where there is not an established framework. Understanding of procurement processes for obtaining goods and services. Demonstrated expertise in assessing and communicating outcomes during the delivery of large-scale projects. Experience managing stakeholders.
