STELIR Project Officer (IT & Operations) Role Purpose To provide IT and administrative support to the Secondary Teachers English Language Improvement Rwanda (STELIR) project. Working to the IT Manager and in collaboration with the Operations Manager, the role will provide IT support for all aspects of the project: testing, capacity building, and face-to-face and remote blended English courses. In addition to providing IT support, the role will provide administrative support to all aspects of the project as needed. Main accountabilities but not limited to the following: User and Technical IT support Working in collaboration with and reporting to the IT Manager: Support IT induction training, provide user guidelines as required. Respond to queries and provide guidance and advice on IT related issues. Liaise with content providers/course leaders to ensure online materials work on the project devices. Project Support Working in collaboration with the Operations Manager: Support the project team in all logistical and administrative aspects of testing, materials development, capacity building, and delivery of the intensive face-to-face and remote blended English courses for secondary teachers during inception, implementation and closure of the project and in line with British Council and client quality and project management standards and requirements. Support the project team in the planning and recording of project outcomes, outputs, audiences, methods of evaluation and monitoring and measuring impact and dissemination of learning as required. Support the project team in data entry for project activities as required and in line with British Council and client quality standards. Customer Support Support the STELIR IT Manager to ensure any issues with technical equipment necessary for participant access to course activities and materials are addressed in a timely manner. Financial Management Working in collaboration with the project Finance team, and reporting to the IT Manager: Support the project team with all budget revisions, quarterly profiling, activity planning and reporting as required.
